This remote restroom, built in 2005, is a flagship for energy efficiency. The building is powered by solar and uses a solar heating system for its hot water generation and building heat. LEDs illuminate the restroom, and sensors track power and water used. Over 20 data points are monitored with SCADA technology and logged for specific feedback over time.System Design / Consulting

Fixture colour
The aluminum construction of the fixture bodies are designed for thermal management to achieve maximum lifetime. Our standard finshes are Black, White, or Raw Aluminum. Custom colours are also available.
LED colours
Using LED combinations, from the colours below, our staff can create millions of different colours. We can also mix different amounts of warm and cool white to achieve specific colour temperatures. Contact us to discuss your specific lighting colour, wave length or temperature needs.

Light monitoring and motion monitoring can be incorporated into Nemalux fixtures. These applications are particularly useful in solar installations to conserve energy.
Dimming
Nemalux’s LED luminaires are fully dimmable through fine voltage or current control. Standard dimmers or a custom solution can be designed.
